There are millions of pores in our body through which our skin breathes. The pores around the nose, forehead, and cheeks are larger and more prominent. But for some people, large and open pores can be a cause for concern. This problem is found more in people whose skin is oily or mixed oily. This is due to excessive sebum production, due to which blackheads and pimples appear on the face. Apart from this, stress, genetic and unhealthy skin also open the pores. As we age, the skin loses its elasticity and it gets worse. Here are some home remedies to reduce facial pores-
First of all, wash your face with clean water. Then wrap some ice cubes in a clean cloth and place them on the areas with open pores for a few seconds. Doing so helps in closing the pores.
Lemon juice has an astringent effect and helps to unclog pores. Rosewater is also a natural skin toner that helps to unclog pores. Mix an equal quantity of rose water and lemon juice and apply it to the face. Wash off after 10 minutes with plain water.
Tomato juice also has an astringent effect. It cleans and shrinks the pores. To close the pores, tomato juice or its pulp can be applied on its own. Apart from this, adding cucumber juice and egg white can also be applied to the face.
It helps in restoring the normal pH balance of the skin. Mix it well with ground almonds, powder, and peels of dried orange and lemon. Rub this paste on the skin with light hands. Then clean the face with water. It cleanses the skin of dead cells and keeps the pores free from hash oil.
Mix oats with egg white and apply on the open pores. When it dries, wet it and rub it in gently. Then wash off with water. It helps to remove oil, clean and tighten pores. It also prevents clogging of pores.
